So, I'm not sure how many people actually read my blog but it is very therapeutic for me and I enjoy doing it as an outlet for what I feel. For example, I am currently fighting a grumpy toddler who is wanting my attention. I will have to keep this brief in order to keep from having WWIII break out in my basement.
Recently my family and I have purchased a home and moved in. Between the packing, painting, repairing, moving, and organizing I have not had a whole lot of free time and guess what fell by the wayside...me! I have not been dieting the way I should nor have I been exercising. It is sad to admit that I have put myself last but right now that is what needed to be done to accomplish what I could for my family. Tomorrow brings a fresh start: a new school, a new school year, a new week, and a new challenge. I have committed myself to run in a 5k on October 16th. That means that I have 9 weeks to get my fat ass in good enough shape that I can run a 5k with only some walking. Prior to this commitment I was just trying to run 3 days a week for any given distance (a lot of those runs consisted of a good portion of walking). Now I have to use a program geared to get me ready to run in this race. To do this have decided to restart the c25k program as it is set up for a 9 week timeline and seems perfect for this race. All positive energy is needed as I embark on this journey to a 5k race (the longest I will have ever run in my entire life, except maybe for during field hockey in high school).
Well a revolt will occur if I don't get this child a snack so I must end here. It was good talking to you!!
